Born in Saint-Petersburg, live in London. 
During my career I won plenty of open tournaments (Gibraltar, Grenke, Russian Higher League, tied 1st Aeroflot), some closed events (Russian Superfinal, Prague Masters), all kind of team events (World Team Champioship, European Team Championship, European Club Cup, all national leagues possible), except Olympiad. Reached 1/4 of  FIDE World Cup (2019).
Maximum FIDE rating 2751 (November 2019), highest ranking - 15th (May 2011).
I helped Ian Nepomniachtchi to win Candidates twice in a row, was there on his side in Astana during the match in 2023. Peter Svidler also did quite well in London 2013.
I´ve worked with the best coaches in the World, such as Gelfand, Dokhoian, Dvoretsky, Dreev. It helped me a lot as a player. Now I am sharing this wisdom as a coach.
