Anëtar Diamanti

2018, 2019, & 2021 Michigan State Champion.

I learned to play chess when I was 5, and have been competing ever since. My father taught me how the pieces move, but I have my old coach Tony Palmer to thank for helping me reach the ~1600 level. Since then, I have been mostly self taught.

I earned the NM title in Chicago at age 15, the FM title by scoring 9/9 in the 2018 Michigan Invitational at age 18, and the IM title at the 2022 Saint Louis Norm Congress at age 22.

I've been a full-time chess coach since graduating High School in 2018. I specialize in working with Intermediate & Advanced students ages 7-14, many of which have made it into the US Top 50 for their age, and two even reaching NM!

I am currently open to new students at $60/hr, although I have limited availability. If you're interested in in-person or online private lessons, please email me at [email protected]
