Hey girls! I just wanted to test out running my favorite version and flavor of Mafia! This variant uses poison and healers for suspense, and I really like it XD.

The game is a Deadly Tea Party, so the villagers are innocent partygoers. Lynched players will merely be shown the door, kicked from the party! I hope you enjoy!

Poison: When a player is poisoned at night, at the dawn of the next day a public announcement is posted, saying that she will die at the end of the day unless healed. If the poison is fake, then she will not due but the announcement will still appear.

Healer: Anytime a player is poisoned, any player with a healer item may use it to stop the player from dying. You may use yours on yourself. Try not to waste your power!

The rules and roles I prepared:

Each player will get one role.

Mafia's goal is to overpower the other players by equaling their number. This is done through killing and causing the villagers to lynch their own.

Villager's goal is to stay alive and vote out or kill all Mafias, thereby removing all threats to the village (or in this case the partygoers).

Night: Each "night," the Mafia will send me a player's name. That player will be removed from the game at night end, barring interference. Any other powers must also have the targets submitted at night.

Day: Each living player gets to vote on who to kick out of the game (lynch). The day is timed, 48 hours, so if no one votes then no one gets lynched. Tied votes, the lynch will be randomized between the tied players. Voting to abstain (sleep, no lynch also) is allowed.

Roles:

Mafia: Team kills one player each night. All Mafia players (red) are a unit, knowing each other and sharing a chat. The factional kill is required.

Mafia JOAT (Jack Of All Trades): 1-shot poison, 1-shot vigilante kill, 2-shot roleblock, 1-shot fake poison, 1-shot healer.

Mafia Suicide Bomber: Once during the game, in day phase, will suicide, but taking a villager aligned player of her choice with her. This must be declared privately, not in thread. Then it will be a surprise.

Mafia Universal Backup: Inherits the powers of all dead Mafia, including the suicide Bomber and any unused JOAT powers.

Villager: No night powers by default. Most of you will be villagers.

Doctor: Protects one player from night kills, including the factional kill and any vigilante shots. Does not stop poisons.

Detective: May check the alignment and powers/items of a player every night.

Even-night Vigilante: On even nights may choose to shoot a player she suspects. This is not required, abstaining is allowed.

All other powers will be one-shot items.

Mafia items:

2x poison

1x fake poison

3x item and role check (may see what role or items a player has, if any)

The Mafia may use one of these each night.

Villager items:

3x 1-shot poison each

1x 2-shot poison

4x 1-shot healer each

2x 2-shot fake poison each

Each villager getting one of these items may use them any night she desires.

The days will be 48 hours and the nights will be 24 hours. At the start of each phase, I will post a flavor that will be tea party themed and tell the dead and living players, and who is poisoned.

The more players we have the more roles and powers I will use. 21 is the goal. Recruitment lasts until April 17th. If we get 21 players there will be 5 Mafia and 16 villagers.
